Our customer, one of the top five airlines in USA, had an existing incentive program for corporate houses and travel agents. Most of the operational processes were manual and involved people from different groups, internal as well as external to the organization. This resulted in loss of data clarity; intense manual processing and several independently maintained databases. Overall the system was not interactive and was not able to attract customers.
The customer was looking for some one to help in
a) Bringing all data to a central repository
b) Developing user friendly web interfaces
c) Integrating the incentive application with other application systems
d) Analyzing existing processes and replacing them with more efficient processes
e) Providing multilingual solution so that the application can be used worldwide, specifically in countries like Japan, China and Hong Kong etc.
f) Hosting the solution
g) Providing regular maintenance for 7 * 24 hrs a week
h) Over and above, developing the solution in an aggressive time line as time-to-market was very critical

| How Globalcase Helped |
The customer selected Globalcase because of its expertise in developing incentive solution, experience with airline industry and its earlier performance in executing and delivering quality solution to the same customer.
Globalcase helped in logically grouping and prioritizing the functionalities so that the complete solution could be delivered in different phases. The different phases were planned to be taken to the market in different time sequence. Globalcase was aware of the risk of not delivering subsequent phases in time when the earlier phases were in market already. It relied on its past experience of executing similar projects and at the same time prepared required contingency plans so that the customer was comfortable with over all approach. This helped in taking the product to the market quickly. The first phase of the product was delivered in a record time of four weeks. The subsequent phases were delivered subsequently in time without any failure.
Globalcase data architects analyzed different data sources and proposed a solution to accommodate data from various data sources as per corporate standards and guidelines. They prepared a thorough data conversion and transformation process to migrate the data from various scattered data sources to one centralized repository.
Globalcase web designers developed user-friendly and easy to use user interfaces as per the corporate website standard, keeping the look and feel consistent across the website of the customer. The application was designed so that the front end could be made multilingual easily without affecting the back-end of the application.
Globalcase process and integration experts modified existing processes, to name a few, multiple login to access different components of the application, dependency on technical resources for reports, manual data correction etc; to provide effective and efficient solution to end customers.
Globalcase is hosting and providing 24 * 7 hours complete maintenance support.
Note: Recently Globalcase helped in making major enhancement to the application system as the business model and processes changed for the customer.
